A 27-year old Malaysian, Pua Yui Loon was charged with a hit-and-run accident with a motorcycle along Bukit Timah Expressway in Singapore on 6 February.

The 22-year motorcyclist was killed as a result, while his 23-yo pillion rider suffered serious injuries.

Pua was on his way to Woodlands Checkpoint and fled to Malaysia after the hit-and-run.

However, Singapore authorities ascertained his identity, and his car registration plate through video footage.

When Pua tried to enter Singapore again, he was arrested immediately.

Pua was charged with dangerous driving causing death, dangerous driving causing grievous hurt, failing to stop after an accident, failing to report an accident within 24 hours, failing to stop to help the injured.

Appearing in court, Pua said he did not know he had hit the motorcyclist as he had found no damage to his car.

For dangerous driving causing death, he may face a jail term of two to eight years, and disqualification from driving all vehicles.

He is due to be sentenced on 16 February.

Really stupid to come back to Sg when he killed someone, then he should face the full brunt of the Sg law.

May be he didn't really know he hit some motor.
If u notice the drivers on the road (including rider), many didn't even know what they are doing. No shxt is given to the surrounding.
So rider better be smart because when shxt happen, they might be the biggest loser...
