Hi guys, I'm not sure if you have encountered this before. I recently purchased a phone under Zerolution contract and requested to switch from Celcom to Maxis on 2nd Feb Friday. The staff told me it will take only 1 day for the port out request SMS to come from Celcom. It's now 7th Feb Wed, 5 days since my purchase and still no port out SMS from Celcom. Tried calling Maxis hotline, but they told me there was no port in request made for my number. They double checked it again, and confirmed there's no port in request made. They then told me to go back to the branch where i purchased my device and check with them instead. I can only go back there somewhere next week, but has anyone of you faced this before, anything i need to be aware of? I have port in a few times to different telcos before, and this is the first time I faced this kind of issue.

If operator said no submission found means really not submitted. Blame Celcom for the delay

I see... Should I check with celcom or just wait?

Sorry, not Celcom. Need to check with the Maxis Centre that you registered. They are the ones who not submit your request.

Yeah I'm planning to revisit the centre later this week, as I'm away outstation for cny. So we'll see how it goes. I still haven't received the port out SMS btw šŸ˜…

TS manage to port in? I’m too from Celcom. Just went to Maxis Centre requesting MNP this morning

I still haven't received the port out confirmation SMS from celcom, so I'm guessing Maxis hasn't made the port in request yet. It has been 10 days šŸ˜… will update soon this Thurs

Ok guys, so here's my update:

I went back to KLCC branch yesterday (Thursday) and told them I had an issue porting in to Maxis for almost two weeks. One of the staff there for some reason registered me a new supplementary line, and port in my number to that one instead under my dummy sim. I was shocked and said no, I just want to switch my number to the dummy sim I have at the moment. Really weird.

The staff that attended to me last time thankfully was there, and helped to check. Maxis indeed sent the request to port-in, so its either:
1) Maxis sent the request but Celcom didn't send me the port-out sms; or
2) Celcom did send me the sms but I didn't reply

But no worries he said, his superior has just resent the request again to Celcom. I thanked him, went home, and later that evening, I finally received the long awaited sms from Celcom. And today, I have officially switched to Maxis.

Edited: btw just wondering, how come u can apply zerolution if u not with maxis yet?
*
Well, in their zerolution plans they do offer to switch to maxis, so I guess now no need to be existing maxis user?

For my case Celcom sent port out sms with expired deadline. Obviously it got rejected when I reply it

Then I WhatsApp the lady at Maxis centre athat attended to me. She helped to resend the port request. Next day the SMS from Celcom came on time and after reply, few hours later signal went away and now I’m now a happy Maxis customer.

Note: I signed up mine at Sarawak. They have better plans so getting RM20 rebate for the next 24 months. It comes with unlimited 4G/5G data and free calls+SMS

That's great, maybe it's Celcom who didn't want us to port out, tsk tsk... joking joking. Anyway, enjoy your new telco, and happy new year.

Since this issue is resolved I'm going to close this topic. Thanks everyone for helping thumbup.gif
