So if I arrive at KLIA after midnight and after KLIA express stops running, how do I get to city centre? Do people still use Grab? Does Grab come to KLIA arrival?

if possible change your ticket to arrive b4 midnight. nothing beats convenience of KLIA express.

Bus

Some of the interstate bus, will pass by city also. Maybe can tag along just till the city

They cannot deny you where to go, so far my experiences after midnight was that I didn't have any trouble getting a grab.

Grab fare not determined by time period, more on traffic and availability (supply and demand). It will definitely cost more but I doubt its double, it should be lesser at 50% surcharge

This is correct. And Grab is readily available even in the wee hours. sos: personal experience.

There are also buses to KL Sentral departing around 12.30AM or 12.45AM. Do check with the bus companies in case there are any changes to the scheduling.

If bus, will be to KLIA Sentral, right?

Seats on buses are limited. If you think u can make it to the 12.30AM bus to KL Sentral, I strongly advise you to buy a ticket first thru a bus-ticketing app like Redbus. You'll have to show your e-ticket at the KLIA bus counter for them to issue u a bus boarding pass.

But if u r landing slightly after midnight, it's gonna be very hard for you to make it in time for the 12.30AM bus. Recommend that you just order a grabcar.

Airport hotel can be very expensive.

Last year flight delay from Sabah, arrive KLIA after midnight

Taxi counter close and not easy to find Grab

Manage to get one then he ask to cancel as its too far

After 15-30min then manage to get one

So expect delay if want book grab after midnight at KLIA

Not sure how's the current situation now

Bus to kl Sentral - almost every hour after midnight. Sure can make it.

No ERL from KLIA to KL Sentral after midnight? This is bad.

there still some grab driver camping there at midnight

best to ask GF, friends to pickup at klia instead. on the way back can go light dinner together
