Hi guys, I am looking for civil engineering background contractor or other experienced Architect advice

Currently my house is renovating (on going) , only wet work cost me around 180k.

Renovation submitted and approved on certain part as below:-
The actual request was

1) Extension of front Master Room until RC Flat Roof (Rejected)
2) Extension of front Master Bathroom until RC Flat Roof (Rejected)
3) Extension of Rear Kitchen, tear down the small room and make the whole area become a open space kitchen which included the rear empty part. (Approved)
4) Extension of Rear bedroom (The left side room will become bigger) (Approved)

Unfortunately, the contractor told me MPKJ rejected the front extension.

So I am confusing since the other Taman which just right opposite me (double terrace house) mostly extended their front master room which included the bathroom but how come they rejected my application?

Question
1) Should I go for other contractor with civil engineering background and re-submit the application?
2) Why are they rejected me, since so many other neighbors extended their houses.

To answer your question
It’s either your contractor submitted the MPKJ Pelan Setara which only allow standard extension for single storey renovation without RC roofing … that’s why MPKJ allow rear single storey extension for your house …

Front extension revolve around your upper floor need proper building submission … but need to check your new extension is within the 6096mm ( 20 ft setback or not ) if exceed the 20ft then MPKJ would not allow .. only open balcony extension up to 3048mm (10ft)

Please check your site measurements or check on the sales and purchase floor plan the distance between your front boundary line to the existing building line …
