I need expert advise for grille door... One of the supplier (three kim) quoted me about RM1.9k for the entrance grille door, meanwhile some of the property mangement company quoted me RM1k for bulk purchase with other owners.

Can any expert advise what normally caused so much difference in pricing? The material is different or is profit margin? I'm really noob on this, hopefully any sifu can advise.

workmanship and also cost-profit, for bulk purchase they able to offer you lower price when you give them certain amount of orders, this will reduce their transport charges and material costs and etc...

most important is you need to see their workmanship, reviews and make sure they do it according to the specs given by your condo management

sometime those recommend by people in owner group is also a trap, they just simply throw out bulk purchase and who knows maybe they also get a certain commission

if your condo management has a in-house contractor then just go for them, at least it is recommended by management and save you a lot of hassle and dont need to worry them running away

I highlighted the bold parts as red flags
Bulk order is ok for 5-10 units but not when u have 100s of people joining the queue.. how long they need to fabricate and install

What you pay is what you get. Unless not planning to own stay and the grille is lowest bidder win job for you when the unit is destined for tenant condemnation?

After u install a threekim grille compare the hinges, clean welds, etc with another neighbour elcheapo grille and see.

Setup a RM2 co to suck your money give crap that typically lasts 13 months on a 12 mos warranty. Or may even burn down your house.

guys, just tumpang, why the grille door will rust by itself even though not exposing to the rain ? my grilled door just less than 1 year and can find some sport started to rust

cos yours is not stainless steel la! Who asked you install those cheapo Metal one??
