Actually that’s my biggest fear of retired life: having nothing to fill my day.

In addition to traveling, I intend to spend my time gardening and growing herbs and vegetables for the kitchen, and also to have good long walks around Ma y of Australia’s national parks for exercise.

Drive to the parks (because I love driving) then walk.

Read books at the excellent public libraries and enjoy watching people go about their hustle and bustle of daily life…

Nurse a cup of coffee while seated at a bistro or little cafe.

I will likely get either a campervan or a caravan and do road trips with the wife - like a grey nomad - around the whole of Australia.

I guess that’s the kind of life I’m looking at, post retirement.

Oh. Finally get down to writing and finishing that book which I started some 20 years ago…
