Decide to fastboot the phone after almost a year but the phone keep making reconnect sound in fastboot mode every few seconds.

I ignore the sound and still proceed to flash the phone using the Mi Flash and although the app detect the phone using refresh but the flashing progress stuck forever from the very beginning and the phone remain un-flash after I cancel the flash and restart it manually.

So what can be the problem ??

prepare to get a new phone or send for warranty

well first do make sure its not a stuck power/volume button

otherwise its most likely dead hardware
