Hi all, about 2 months ago my little one started waking up very often in the middle of the night and started crying and screaming. This led to a big change in her voice and it has not returned to normal. Any good doctor or voice professionals to recommend?

Not necessary see doctor but you need to investigate why crying and screaming middle of night.

Play too much in the morning?

best to visit your usual Pead doc and get his recommendation if require further consultation..

two month old not any ENT doctor can see..

FYI my dotter last time was also crying nightly for two months straight when she is 6m old..
she eventually grew out of it.. and so far we don see any damage to her vocal cords.. her usual Paed oso say nothing..

It was only for the duration, and since then it's all fine. Hardly cry or scream anymore for the last 2 months. Not so sure why, as the daily activities are pretty much the same everyday

yeah, we are hoping it will go off on its own, but after over 2 months, just a little improvement. still a big difference from the old voice. will see what our pediatrician says...she is 38 months old now and started going to pre-school this year. so there will be more singing and playing, which might not give her vocal cord enough rest

1.5 years old, don't think she has developed much vocabulary at that age.

Don't worry about her not able to sing due to vocal cords.
