Had to travel to New Delhi Dec 2022. Not sure if things are different now. 1. Registered for visa online, filled in the forms on the website and printed it out (they also have this service at the visa centre but they'll charge you) 2. Passport photos need to be of a specific dimension (squarish), rather than the usual rectangular shape 3. Photocopy supporting documents 4. The queue at the Chase Perdana centre starts to form at 7.30am 5. Once allowed in, the person at the initial counter will check your forms, photos and supporting documents. If photo needed or documents need photocopying, they can do this for a fee 6. If satisfactory, they will tell you to go to the respective counter 7. As I could claim the visa application fees, I chose the express counter service as well as courier service to send out passport once done
Apply for the visa at least one month before, the whole process usually takes up to two weeks so better to allow some extra time as the India Embassy in KL observes India National holidays too
