Hi guys just got my 24in display
tried run pixel test
can see some black shadow

Is this display condition ok?

Yes got VGA port

Just worry CPU/RAM/GPU not sufficient

Both, its the resolution your PC is outputting & the monitor is set to display. For i5 3210M your iGPU can support DisplayPort 1.1 (max 2560x1600) and HDMI 1.4 (max 1920x1080) so its not like you can go much higher anyways.

Your best setup is whatever resolution your currently running, if its 1080P then I dont see any issue to out display to 1080P monitor. If you use VGA it may not display on screen properly as 1080P is not a native VGA resolution in any of its evolved versions.

Thats your LCD backlit, cheap monitors will have less even coverage and this is normal cuz you get what you paid. Unless its become very significant and affects your usage, then you can try bring back to claim warranty. If you want even lighting, get OLED.
