That is not an expiry date. It is a "best before" date. As long as the bottle cover is not deformed at this point in time, it'll still be ok to consume.

i've never have the habit of having chicken essence.
i got a bottle left from someone's gift to my sister.

so one night, i was bz at work and rushing for a project. while taking a break, i remember the bottle. i took it out and drank it without much thought coz hey it's there, its free, got effect or not don't care just drink and continue working and busy with it.

i didn't even throw the bottle away. just recap it.

after a few days, i remember it and thought of it. and i realized i never read the expiry date.

took a look, and realized it has expired half a year ago.
nothing happened though

Can still drink , happen to me also , I finished all in 3 week , no lau sai, as long as the cap no pop up

No issue so long the Brands Essence has been kept indoors in a cool environment and not exposed to the sun. I have taken Brands Essence that was six months after Best Before date.

this one homemade chicken essence very sedap wor,.. my mum used to cook this,.. but very long hours,.. and then the chicken meat become tasteless,.. quite a waste for those meat,.. for very little essence only,...
