Hi For my soon to be 76 year old dad He has diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure. I know it's better to take him see a specialist. For the mean time, I was hoping you guys can recommend some remedy to ease the itchiness. Or bathing soap. Or talcum powder. Thank you

QUOTE(Chastain @ Jan 29 2024, 10:19 AM) Hi For my soon to be 76 year old dad He has diabetes, cholesterol and high blood pressure. I know it's better to take him see a specialist. For the mean time, I was hoping you guys can recommend some remedy to ease the itchiness. Or bathing soap. Or talcum powder. Thank you If he have diabetes most probably caused by the poor blood circulations. Try to keep the itchy area mosturised if you see the skin is dry and shiny. Compression socks can also help if he also suffers from leg swelling. make sure hew always wear shoes when walking around to prevent wound. the best is to go and see the Dr. Even GP with good practice can give good advice.
