Domains are getting more and more expensive and the weak ringgit is not helping... normally how long you renew your domain? Currently I'm doing yearly. But planning to renew longer. But not sure how long I should renew it...

Local Mynic Domain cost also will increase effective 1-March-2024
.com / .com.my / .my all can renewal max 10 years (from current year) now.


Example:

- Domain Expiry Date: 4-Apr-2024
* You can renew max to 4-Apr-2034 (10 years from current year)

- Domain Expiry Date: 4-Apr-2026
* You can renew max to 4-Apr-2034 (8 years from current year)

ok, decided to renew mine to 9 years (max offered by Google domains)

probably will save on the SST increase. (Google domains also charging SST)
