Yesterday was a sad day for ayam as ayam learned that Jürgen Klopp is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season. cry.gif

Ayam was in tears watching his interview below. Seriously in tears, a very touching interview which I believe only those who follow Liverpool and/or Klopp closely this 8.5 years would understand it. The meaning of each words is so deep. The journey was just fantastic, especially when you see the condition of the team he inherited.

He do not have the budget that some other managers have like Pep and yet still able to build such a fantastic team.

So here is ayam, spending some time to create a tribute thread by sharing some of his special moments. A truly charismatic manager which is loved by everyone, including opposition fans. notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Anyone is welcomed to PM me to add in any clips/videos here.

The touching interview:

A great manager, the only manager that liverpool nailed after series of unfortunate years, i like how he bought not well known players but in his hand they all perform tremendously, the likes of Salah, van dijk, mane, firmino, coutinho, TAA
F
Do not how the future holds without jurgen klopp as manager, and what i know that the german national want jurgen to be their manager if he left liverpool, or he might be the new manager in bayern....sad to see him leave...

Yup. One of the major indicator of great managers are players under them become world beaters and when the players leave the club, they become mediocre.

Just look at mane, coutinho, firmino. All are world class players under klopp but become bench warmer in their new team.

There is a chance that this will be his last job. He mentioned personally, based on current situation, Liv will be his last managerial job. But he also let the door open abit, by saying its hard to predict what will happen in the future.

I see a lot of fans asking for Xabi Alonso to takeover.

The guy's only top level coaching experience is with Bayer Leverkusen for 1 1/2 seasons. Before that he was real sociedad B team coach.

Xabi Alonso to Liverpool = Mikel Arteta to arsenal.

Best option now for LiVARpool is to get Mourinho. He wins trophys with every team he has coached (except spuds because they are fucking dog shit), even a shit poorfag Roma team won the conference league under him, and should have won the Europa League if the ref didn't help Sevilla.

Unai Emery also is a decent choice.

Can see he's not animated when he's celebrating or at the touchline or at press conference as compared to 4-5 years ago and it's pretty much Dortmund all over again with long bad result then he turn it around then he resign

Would love to see Alonso at the touchline next season!

Kena konsisten bro. Not just one season.

No guarantees he won't do an Arteta with Liverpool in the PL if he joins (bigger competition, Man City, Arsenal, Man Utd, Spurs, Newcastle, Villa have all been competitive).

No doubt Alonso has beaten Bayern to the title, and are in the semis of the Europa League, but is he ready to lead a big club?

What I would like to see is Alonso winning stuff a couple more years with Leverkusen, before taking on a big job (and he has since rejected both big jobs Bayern and Liverpool to stay at Leverkusen).

Klopp is a good manager in fixing broken teams like he did with Dortmund and Liverpool, but what Liverpool really needs now, is a coach with a proven track record of winning. Alonso has proved this season that he can win trophies, and in spectacular fashion if he goes unbeaten the entire season.

Best would be Ancelotti, but he won't leave Real.

Ruben Amorim of Sporting Club Portugal maybe, guy has more experience and trophies than Alonso.

i do agree with you. consistency is the key.

but if you just stop bayern from winning the bundesliga you must be someone special. alonso is the exception. if i were the owner of liverpool i will do my best to bring him to liverpool.

he knew the environment and what it takes to play for the kop. he is the perfect candidate.
