If no simptom, then use the test kitt only lor. Stool test ONLY. If u do the colonoscopy, then u get the FINGER. They need to put KY i guess.

I don't think insurance covers for colonoscopy if you don't have any issue....
it cost like 2K rm, depending on whether there is promo going on... just did mine last year.

it is cheap.... cos in private hospital, just the colonoscopy itself is like 2K rm.

btw, how long did you have to wait for the surgery appointment after the specialist confirmed that you had colon cancer?

I will ask KK about Kolorektal screening during my next visit.
Done colonoscopy before retiring 2 years back in private hospital.
Now already retired, can't afford private need to go government facility.
Hopefully not painful process in government facility.
In private hospital, you will be put to sleep for the colonoscopy.

Quite fast, 2-3 month or 3-4 month if not mistaken b'cos the doc carry forward my case upfront, dunno why.

dont eat much fruits back then, once a while.

You mentioned stomach pain, can describe the pain? Cause I am sure alot of us do get the pain every now and then. Also, did you get frequent constipation like months or years before that? How's the fibre intake before you got diagnose?

More on psychological level, how did this diagnosis change your perspective and focus on life? Any difference?
