Sik Cheong Bhd is offering up to 66 million new shares in an initial public offering (IPO), as it seeks to list on the ACE Market of Bursa Malaysia.

The group said the 66 million new shares comprise a public offering of 13.3 million shares via balloting, four million shares for eligible directors and employees of the group, while the remaining 48.7 million shares are for private placement to selected investors.

Meanwhile, Sik Cheong is also planning an offer-for-sale of 20 million existing shares by way of private placement to selected investors.

The group intends to utilise the IPO proceeds to finance its packaging facility expansion plan and as working capital.

Sik Cheong said it has more than 500 customers, mainly retailers, wholesalers, hotel, restaurant and catering operators, and food manufacturers, which enables it to continue securing new orders, while cross-selling other types of edible oil products such as high oleic soybean oil products, which it intends to distribute in the future.

Sik Cheong is principally involved in the repackaging, marketing and distribution of edible oil and other food products, and the distribution of lamp oil and other trading products.

TA Securities Holdings Bhd is the principal adviser, sponsor, underwriter and placement agent for the IPO.

No. I talked to the customer service before. Moomoo CDS is nominee account.

but this cds nominee can apply ipo with moomoo? i thought non-nominee only can apply ipo?

There are 2 CDS accounts under Moomoo, see the pic, there is one specifically for IPO. Both Moomoo says cannot be used for MBB. I saw someone in the Moomoo thread said that you will not be able to transfer the stocks to Moomoo from MBB

not sure about that cos I already apply using MooMoo IPO CDS for Sik Cheong IPO thru Maybank.
The MooMoo IPO account is under my personal name as I received email statement about this account from BURSA directly with ADA under MooMoo.
I think should be ok if kena IPO... maybe cannot or will not directly transfer to MooMoo nominee accounts unless requested or there will be some charges.
Let see what happened if I kena pick by IPO first

by theory... should be ok as my wife open a CDS accounts directly from Bursa. After that, only link to her hlebroking and transfer all nominee accounts shares to this new personal CDS accounts.

If my MBB trade account trading limit is 20k for example but in the "cash" is only 10k. Does that mean i can only use 10k for bidding IPO or i can use the full 20k?

Again, today 30 July close application, then usually is 01 August Thursday ballot.

But it ngek bgek want delay one day to friday 02 August ballot, then can hold our money another 2 days during weekend to earn free interest from our money.
