Mine is 2012 MBP running on Sonoma using OpenCore Legacy Patcher. Ok only. Smooth too. Then again, I have 16GB RAM installed.

8GB mana enough la? Optimized or not, still the same nonsense. The fucking OS itself needed 2GB to run properly! After that got swap and other system related requirements. User apps only left 3GB shared with all the apps. Mana enough la? When not enough, the OS will use the SSD as RAM. GG SSD later.
