I have a weird problem and would appreciate some input.

Just got an AirPods Pro2 Lightning. I can charge wirelessly. However, I cannot charge with my iPhone Lightning cable but using the Lightning cable provided in the box, I can charge. Also, which is just as baffling, I cannot charge my iPhone with this cable.

Am I missing something?

Didn’t change to use another adaptor as the one used is Apple Original. On top of that I could use it to charge my iPhone and AirPods Pro using their respective cables.

You confirming that my problem is in fact an issue and should not be like that? If so, a trip to AASP is necessary then.

it should not be like that. both cable should be can be use to charge both devices. if have spare time, can go to AASP to clarify. if still within warranty period, can try claim warranty.

Yes, I have no issues with my AirPods Pro1. The 2 is well within warranty period. Looks like I have to go make a claim. TQ.
