How old is your dog? Older dogs around 8-10 years old may have cancer (depends on breed, some less likely), but they usually have more critical diseases at that age, like kidney and liver problems.

6 still not too old for dogs, but depends on breed, genes, diet, environment, some young dogs get cancer too.

Jan-March only 2 months, already terminal stage cancer, not much the vet can do even if detected.

My dog already old, 10 years old, that's why I take him to do full checkup every year, help him stay healthy and comfortable for as long as possible.

Expensive but worth it, since he is like family, many good memories.
