While everyone said we were knocked out from group stage d , even news article
It is not accurate actually Technically if we put aside Korean as the favorite , if we can trash Korea by a huge huge margin , we can still qualify By huge I mean 10-0 , possible to qualify on goal difference depending on the rest of the matches which will be played at same time Yes yes I know it’s Korea but purely calculation wise we can still qualify |

Shame to the real tigers to use their name. Bunch of school kids playing in the real pitch. No discipline or skills but big headed. |

QUOTE(3damansarautama @ Jan 21 2024, 09:03 AM) Heartbreak for Harimau Malaya as they lose to Bahrain, no thanks to a late goal kasi pecat semua,PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's hopes of making it out of the group stage are as good as over in the Asian Cup. A stoppage-time goal broke Harimau Malaya's strong resolve as they lost 0-1 to Bahrain in the second Group E match of the Asian Cup at the Jassim Hamad Stadium on Saturday (Jan 20). The side led by South Korean Kim Pan-gon produced a defensive masterclass led by Buriram United centreback Dion Cools but it all ended in vain as they continued their winless run in the group. Dion was in his element as he won 10 duels, made six recoveries and 13 clearances to keep the Middle East side at bay for most of the match. But Bahraini winger Ali Madan was unstoppable as he broke the solid defense to score the winner in the 96th minute injury time to give the Dilmun Warriors their first win in the group. While Bahrain celebrated, the Malaysians slumped on the field in sheer disappointment as they had given a better account of themselves but it wasn't enough. Before the game against Bahrain, Malaysia had played poorly to lose 0-4 to Jordan on Jan 16. Malaysia will next face tournament favourites South Korea at the Jassim Hamad Stadium on Jan 25. With two defeats, it's hard for Malaysia to win a spot in the last 16 unless they beat the mighty South Korea by a big margin. https://www.thestar.com.my/sport/football/2...-to-a-late-goal dari paling atas ke paling bawah fam, kasi pecat semua pemain import, ambil lokal saja, sebab tak ada beza import atau lokal, lebih baik belanja duit itu di sekolah/hospital |

QUOTE(askingquestion @ Jan 21 2024, 10:32 PM) From what I read Malaysia and Vietnam knocked out because of the head to head rule. Is it ? I thought the group stage table is solely on GD if WDL is the same If 2 teams has the same points, who won the in the head to head fight is placed higher. So if Bahrain and Malaysia has the points but Bahrain won against Malaysia, Bahrain is place higher. Goal difference doesn't matter unless we draw. Then 4 best 3rd will enter Was reading the full competition manual by AFC couldn’t find it I’m very interested to know as well |

QUOTE(kcal @ Jan 21 2024, 09:17 AM) angmoh players become sayur when playing against arab players. should have naturalized more arab players instead of useless angmoh whose feet become jelly when shooting in front of opponent goal our Naturalized angmoh or african or other races players are 3rd grade players... probably some 4th grades in their own country league. To us here probaly they are 1st or 2nd grade good enough for our football standards.. but to their respective leagues in their country they are probably 3rd or 4th grade..thats the diff... imagine 1 day ( dream on) we have naturalise players like ronaldo or kylian mpape, or even mo salah or marcus rashford etc then our football in msia is diff la... not possible cause they wont come here and we cannot afford them also...so whatever it is the result in Asia cup is expected la.. the quality is diff standards from other countries...
