Mahathir and Tun Daim considered New Money rather than Old Money folks, they just started around mid 1970s when Mahathir begin to get some minister job, Tun Razak died, Mahathir in turbo mode up. Old Money is like his wife Hasmah Ali family, a very Old Money family in Selangor,even his elder brother Tun Ismail Ali is the first local BNM governor from 1960s to 1980, Najib as well is from Old Money folk just like H20....

Don't think the Nestle or Maybank shares bought 50 years ago, probably in the 1990s or 2000s,same era he mysteriously started buying african banks etc. Probably they learn from the French on how to launder in Africa hiding behind a company,banks,mining company etc. What a genius place to hide money coz no sane investigator wanna go to that shit hole dictatorship region for investigation.

After forex total loss and 1997 crisis bailout rounds, Tun Daim mysteriously collecting and buying African banks,Bangladesh banks etc, where on earth he got the money to do so when even billionaire around this region don't do that expensive thing.
