Baginda berkenan berbuat demikian susulan undangan daripada Bilik Berita Media Prima setelah berkenan berangkat mengunjungi Sri Pentas Bandar Utama, Kuala Lumpur.

Ngl, gonna miss his royal majesty and highness when they step down end of this month. They had been the most rakyat friendly royalty. So cute watching the.segment where they report on their own visit earlier this morning, both of them trying so hard not to laugh

Are you the same sei sohai from last time who think Agong has some omnipotent power within the constitution to prevents the fuckos politicians playing their stupid game? He's probably among the few who has a role and played it out almost perfectly by the book for the country, which is more that can be said for most of our elected MPs. |

QUOTE(Fresh bright @ Jan 17 2024, 10:40 PM) Many criticize me but fail to realize what a rubber stamp this Agong was during langkah Sheraton. During that time, totally no sense of leadership at all except to stamp the langkah Sheraton. Hello, agong still got some powers to over rule and not stamp things u know. That time so easily stamp, no ask for further investigation, etc.... stamp jer... I agree with what you said about King's power when it comes to certain matters, especially the grey areas like transparency of SDs and the possibility of him acting more than just a mediator/regulator into showing certain politic tendencies and even stakeholder rather than being, again, don't twist my words into suggesting anything, it could or could not happen, no one knows the full picture, no one can't completely disprove me, and you don't know for certain that things are that clean bts and that you are just assuming out of good faith.I mean if you guys like a rubber stamp agong, then by all means praise him to kingdom cum la, else imho this is one of the lousiet agong besides the kelantan one. A real sultan/agong knows that if push comes to shove, he has to shove like the new agong. https://www.sarawakreport.org/talkback/joho...a-rubber-stamp/ https://youtu.be/7r-4-DjAAss?si=8c_1N2vUYgerv0WI I am so glad this current Agong is going away. Good riddance. I hope new TMJ will be better and really not be a rubber stamp agong as he said. Hope he will not be a talk only, but action also PN side. The country is in trouble, strong leadership is required. Many decisions that will impact Malaysia in the next 100 years will be made within these 10 years. Regarding the upcoming Agong, I suggest you read up the family's history before you draw your conclusion. |

That time so easily stamp, no ask for further investigation, etc.... stamp jer... I think you failed or completely ignore Sejarah subject totally. As quoted, https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prime_Minister_of_MalaysiaI mean if you guys like a rubber stamp agong, then by all means praise him to kingdom cum la, else imho this is one of the lousiet agong besides the kelantan one. A real sultan/agong knows that if push comes to shove, he has to shove like the new agong. QUOTE Under Article 39 of the Constitution, executive authority is vested in the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. However, Article 40(1) states that in most cases, the Yang di-Pertuan Agong is bound to exercise his powers on the advice of the Cabinet or a minister acting under the Cabinet's general authority. Thus, in practice, actual governing authority is vested in the Prime Minister and Cabinet. If you forget what you were taught, I'll give a refresher; due to Mahafiraun, range of authority of the royalty have decreased. So after every election, whether the Agong approves it or not, within 30 days that person is still appointed as PM. Guess you were not paying attention in class. |

QUOTE(keybearer @ Jan 17 2024, 08:37 PM) Are you the same sei sohai from last time who think Agong has some omnipotent power within the constitution to prevents the fuckos politicians playing their stupid game? He's probably among the few who has a role and played it out almost perfectly by the book for the country, which is more that can be said for most of our elected MPs. 1) Agong and omnipotent powerfuh, selective memory? Are you forgetting Perak constitutional crisis chapter? Nizar neither resigned nor was he dismissed, former Perak Meow directly appointed new MB and ousted him out by force. L Initially the High Court ruled that meow can't constitutionally remove Nizar and that he was the rightful MB, only for it to be overturned and that direct appointment of new MB can effectively void old MB. Last last, it sets a new precedent whereby Meow can appoint new MB without firing old one or he himself resigning. Care to address why direct appointment won't happen on Federal level and the top post lies on the hands of court once again? Inb4 you dismiss my suspicion as colorful thinking, the precedent has been set in Perak, you don't get to change history. After all, Constitution literally says Agong can act on his own discretion when appointing PM, not my words. ![]() Care to address what's stopping any Meow on the Agong post from going down such path? Care to explain how all of that together is "not omnipotent"? 2) This Pahang Meow played it out almost perfectly Also, in 2020, it all happened behind closed doors, the situation wasn't as clear cut as elections where the people's mandate are reflected through election result, the mandate for PM was only up to the MPs decision at that time. How do you know for certain that no hanky-panky business like Meow asserting his own will happened bts? Do you have proof beyond reasonable doubt that this never happened? Does you 'almost perfectly' not include transparency? The fact remains that in 2020, he could have asked the MPs to duke it out in the Parliament to see who is the PM and he didn't, and that will be a plague that will follow him to grave. Come year 2022, no clear mandate for PM again due to hung Parliament. Agong comes into picture once again. Moo did say MPs can submit their own SDs for PM of their respective choice without consulting their respective party leadership while not switching party and this was not against anti-hopping law, although ungentlemanly. Many would like to believe that Agong followed anti-hopping law's spirit and abode by the en-bloc vote of each party leadership, again, it's done behind closed doors, no one knows the truth which principle Agong adhered to in choosing PM. Did he really follow en-bloc SDs or follow individual SDs. At worst, how do you know Agong did not overreach and exert his own will on PM's choice over the two principles aforementioned? I believe you are neither a hypocrite nor a coward, care to counter these arguments instead of dismissing it as colorful thinking? |

Sigh, you again. tl:dr So you prefer having our own local brand of Mohammed bin Salman over here, in all his gold & glory? Omnipotent means at minimum that, and then some. Anyway you should believe I'm a hypocrite and a coward (and whatever your mind can conjure), if that's what it take to get into your ignore list. I make it a point not to engage with anybody who brings up 13th May for no apparent reason, PAS extremists or otherwise. |
