want to ask anyone in the company if these salary range of these 2 position are at similiar range and what is the range if possible

currently job at 5.3k, great benefits and flexibility with hybrid working of 3 weeks WFH monthly, the usual 13 months salary, 5 % annual increment and avg of 2 months bonus annually. wanted to know if the job has much better salary range before I agree for the interview

If my bonus is on average 2yrs of my annual income, I wouldn't leave, considering you like the arrangements at your current company.

Other than salary range, I dunno man, 10 yrs ago (can't remember accurately since it was hearsay fr ex-colleaggue), that place damn toxic, and recently saw this article

Level 4 analyst i think is somewhat maps to Principal engineer, i think average is prob around 6-8k maybe max at 10k.
SDSM is going through a spin off from Western Digital right now as they will be spinning off the flash division. Market seems to be improving right now, the past 2 years has been brutal, just look at the stock price and you'll get the picture. Performance bonus hasnt been paid for 1.5 years already.

Also since you get 3 weeks in a month WFH, that's a pretty sweet deal.

see my old post:

i see, so pretty much senior gau gau position

for my current position is more like mid level, just a bit above entry, but promotion is hard, all the consultants in company are pretty bright, I am like average performer. I feel like needing to jump, being too comfy here for too long. good benefits but average increment isnt cutting it

One thing to note, WD is notorious in bumping the levels since they use it as a method to compensate for the low pays compared to the others, so take it with a grain of salt, actual role might actually be 1 level down in actual responsibility.
*
yeah, just had the interview just now, actually the interview is for Business Application Analyst position but they already confirmed a good candidate, so they use this position for interviewing me, the actual job scope is for that Analyst position that I applied for, its more of a level 2 support role for Camstar/ Opcenter development.

the interview is mostly fine, got stuck at the final technical question, could have done better although I did answer most of the question well enough

Good luck!
Btw did they clarify on the actual job level and salary range?

we got talk about job scope but not job level and salary range, the ones interviewing me are technical ppl, i am not sure about the salary range, previously before interview i ask recruiter, she say 10k ( i dont actually believe so, that may be the ceiling of the job), but I figure to wait until got offer letter only nego from my experience from interview years ago. if difference too much then obviously our expectation between role and salary not same. Wif advice from a friend that is my senior, I just put high salary expectations (8k, not that I expect that salary, but its easier to nego down than nego up the salary, just put a high figure and see what they might offer instead)

just now receive another call from WD recruiter, is Analyst 3 position, my requested salary around 7k range, they say they will discuss and see if they can offer 7 or above, but its on high end range of the position's salary

they interested in 1 month buyoff, they will discuss and give me a reply (i think with offer) earliest by tmr

EDIT: 50% increment on basic salary, no fixed allowance. overall, 41% increment vs old gross salary

I see, I got an offer from them , still considering whether to accept or not, as i got similar situation like you  biggrin.gif  My current job is fully wfh (not in black & white though, but already been last few years at least).

The sandisk WFH scheme i been told during interview is on friday, subject to work + manager approval? As this wfh thing is not black and white stated in the letter too.

Also they've mention it is flexi hours, how the flexi hours work ? does the office needs clock-in clock-out ?
*
yes, its WFH on Fridays, just apply business for all fridays at the start of every month.

for flexi hours, if you come to office early, you can go back early, if you come to office late, just go back late. my colleagues and I go bac at 5pm usually as we clock in at 8am usually

my last job is WFH 3 weeks monthly

The WFH thing is subject to approval from manager ? As this is not written in the letter, I guess is not fixed benefit ?
*
not in offer letter, but orientation time, the slides will mentioned for normal shift professionals, because every dept and team diff, not everyone WFH same day. but should be no problem getting approval, my manager instant approval, so did other teams managers that I knew

I see. How about working pressure? Esp engineering depts, always need on-call, or stay back?
*
working pressure is ok, unless got major problem, i am not sure about other dept but IT dept does need to always on call, in a way that if got major problem that affects production, need fix ASAP. but wont always have problem. always on call just means if received error email or group chat someone post about serious problem, take a look if its under your responsibilities, usually weekends are worry-free for us

Mind to share the latest working environment there? Still 1 day WFH on Friday? Flexible working hours, come early back early? Already use new building? If not mistaken 1 building finished, another 1 look like 80%.
*
yes, still 1 day WFH for my team, heck, I just told my manager on Sunday that I will be WFH on Monday because of coming back late from KL on Sunday night. yes flexible working hours, janji 9 hrs since you first clock in. I come in at 7:50am i left at 4:50pm. havent use new building, maybe Sept.

Also saw the financial results quite OK this year. Congratz!
How many months? I heard there got 2X bonus?

Parking got issue there? Last time my friends told me need to come at least 30-45mins before. Otherwise, need to park really far
*
I dont think 2x haha, the STI Bonus goal achieved is 138% this year, and need to see pay grade and performance too. My colleague get less than a month bonus, mine got pro rated as I joined mid March, 36% of salary

Yes, park slightly far, for me, a two to three minute walk maybe, i don't mind, can exercise. I always arrived around 7:50am, some times got lucky, have parking at the front of the building
