Check the wiring in your house, maybe there is a spike in electricity supply or your house wiring got faulty somewhere.

QUOTE(viruz @ Jan 16 2024, 09:10 PM) I thought LED light bulbs supposed to last very long but for me it rarely last beyond 2 years and most failed within a year, it will turned yellowish and start to break apart. the quality just bad...for few years i always use Philips, always burned in a year or less. but then i moved to new house, new rccb, new good quality cable, and i even bought e27 with ceramic socket and went back to retry Philips bulb. mana tau few days ago it burned. canot even last 12 months. mfk |

Based on the photo, the bulbs are installed in a very high heat area, hence you can see the base has turned yellowish/brownish.Currently using OSRAM E27 as downlight with reflector. ![]() Not the quality of the lamp, it is the application environment. |

It's too hot.
How and where you install it? Stuffed in non ventilating place? You may drill some hole at the casing to help ventilation But do it very carefully This post has been edited by lj0000: Jan 22 2024, 09:57 AM |

my Philips bulbs are yellowing too. I bought 4000K, after awhile, the color not so white anymore, changing to yellow.
The bulbs are expensive too. Genuine PHilips as I bought from their showroom. Already changed the bulbs but the new ones will start to become yellow after awhile Maybe next round I buy white light 6000K lol Attached thumbnail(s) |
