Hi . Sorry for asking noob question, I have tried to Google and ask Hotlink helpline but Prepaid sounds better yet I see a lot people switching over to Postpaid

Postpaid (For sake of comparison , RM 60)
1. plan won't be expired
2. can take device plan.
3. 50GB

Prepaid (RM45)
1. 50GB (4G/5G) + BONUS 25GB (5G) Internet

But if i don't need the device, Prepaid looks better . So I wonder, what makes you switch over to Postpaid? Thanks for the feedback.

Maybe you need to make a better reference with URL link.
It gonna take 10,000 years b4 someone is too free to help you find 2 diff sources you mentioned.
Anyway,
there are other features in Postpaid like, Free call
Prepaid usually dont cover that

Postpaid coz ur line will always "active".

Even ur statement is on 16-jan (for usage from 17-dec to 16-jan), u can pay it by 15-feb (due date).

So u got about 30 days "buffer".

While prepaid, if today ur expiry date, by 1201 if u didnt topup/reload and buy new plan, u are "disconnected".
Go to sleep at 11pm then wake up next morning, u are "offline".
Without wifi, u cant even reload/topup.

Thanks for the replies. Yeah.. I notice that too, the main disadvantage .. The 50 days duration after expiry day do not seems matter ..

If you are a prepaid user, always get ready a reload pin with you.
I also dont find much diff between, only the inconveniences.

When start to age, we tend to want lesser things to over over... that y ppl start to go for postpaid

that is grace period before number is terminated.

the point is "offline".

worst case scenario:
u sleep at 11pm, wake up morning and reply all whatsapp/email before go to car coz ur phone is connected to ur home wifi.
once u drive, then u want to open waze - bam! no data. and u cant reload online coz again, no data.
go kkmart/mynews to buy reload, but no cash (and they wont accept card payment for reload), so try to pay with ewallet - cannot coz no data.
end up go to petrol station with atm coz need to withdraw cash first to buy topup - atm there offline.
so need to go to ur card bank's branch for the atm.

so inconvenience sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Using Hotlink Postpaid 40 and the data is more than enuf actually.

Postpaid won't suddenly expired/cut off and there is a reminder SMS telling you bill due soon (unless you really forgot to pay bill after 3-4 days).
* I recall we can also call the customer service to unblock for a temp period too for emergency.

Some credit card has this utilities 5% cash back benefit.
