Auntie passed away 3 years ago without will.
Any expert can introduce from Penang? Can we pay a small fee for guidance or need to go to

1. Lawyer
2. AmanahRaya? about 5% of total asset commission need to be paid.

I face great difficulties in filling up the MyeTaPP borang.

Just pay a lawyer to settle everything if you value your time.

If no will, and if got real estate property, where the value of the entire deceased's estate is below RM2 million, you can apply for Pusaka Kecil at the Land office. Can be done yourself. But got lots of Forms to fill in, ask the land office clerk for the borangs.

You look at your geran, which mukim/daerah does it state? Timur Laut, Mukim 6 Daerah Seberang Perai, etc, you go to the relevant Land Office to apply.

Alternatively you can go court, but that requries a lawyer.

Lawyer charges are around RM4.5k-RM5.5k on average to obtain a Letter of Administration, depending on firm.

You do the math, whether Amanah Raya more worth it or appointing a lawyer more worth it.

Correct but the ceilling amount has been revised to 5 mil if I'm not mistaken under Akta Harta Pusaka Kecil

What's your problem filling up the form? I procastinated doing it but once over pretty straightforward.

That said if you value time go find lawyer or pay Amanah Raya to do it.

For Pusaka Kecil, just DIY if no contest between beneficiaries. going to court for letters of Faraid is a waste of time. Guides provided in jkptg website is comprehensive enough, just carefully spend time reading them.

Do official land searches in PTD or PTGN, identify the types of Hakmilik for this. Get copies of IC for all beneficiaries, one beneficiaries have to be the petitioner (account holder for the MyEtapp). Beneficiaries have to be personally present only when they set up date for Bicara.

carian rasmi pejabat tanah RM120 (1 geran tanah)
JKPTG RM900 (forgot how many percent from total asset value, maybe 0.2%) they will come and estimate the value
