Hi would like to have an advice from experienced people here.

i have bought a water pump for my new sub sale town house, before installing it i have gotten the electricity guy to do up a wiring all the way to the tank before installing the pump.

The electricity guy mentioned to me switch at wall is not require as it operates only when i showering or any source of water come through the tank. my concern is power consumption and is it advisable to have a wall switch for the water pump ?

when there's a leak in your water pipes you want to be able to turn off the pump easily

If only on when shower makes sense since can do feedback loop.

But when you use for other purposes like flush toilet or wash dishes then how...? The pump got flow sensor?

The old design I saw memang got wall switch.

it is a must to have a switch for water pump so that u can off it when u are not at home, if there is any water leaking in ur house, the continously running water pump will cause ur house to be flooded.

Better to have the switch... So you can close off them when not in use
