N100 is Intel Atom replacement.

If laptop at least go for i3 1215u . I think its a better CPU than Ryzen 3 7320u overall.

n100 were released quite recently circa 2023.
it perform at best only at r3 3300 which were launched at 2019 i think.
any modern same generation r3 would eat n100 anytime.

A proper X86 full core would be more powerful hence it's a no brainer to compare N100 with even Ryzen 1st gen.
