besides, what is TS's intention of buying these gold coins? if you just want to collect it then might as well buy gold coated/plated plastic coins and hide it behind display shelf, no one would notice.

if it is for investment then might as well just straight buy / invest from bank

I take it you bought it for "investment" then so if that's the case, "tainted gold" such as these and also where the source / purity cannot be ascertain will certainly not sell well.

You can probably let your children inherit it as a family heirloom.
