As you know it's already night time now, and I want to get some sleep.

However I been hearing clapping sounds for the consecutive fifth night.

I did not managed to identify which or where the sound came from yet as our house / units are built closely together.
I tried to look through the window but did not notice any lights.

I suspect my neighbour is excited and listening to some songs using earphone as I did not hear any bass sound.
It's just clapping sound like "Piak piak piak..." with consistent rhythm. It is also not water dripping sound as that will be "Plup plup plup...".

What should I do to identify the source of the sound? I just want some sleep and that is all I asked.

Please don't ask me to use earplugs, I tried and it felt uncomfortable and it doesn't help to fall asleep.

how do we to identify coming from which neighbour?
it felt so close, yet so far, it's quiet here and the clapping sound is bouncing between the walls

takes a few days to get used to it, now i can't sleep without one. just typical orange earplug from 3m, nothing fancy.

no point finding out what causes the noise. next time, there might be a different noise. or combination of noises.
