Haha, okok thx boss. Some kind of bug🤣
*
It's not a bug. It's a product promotion. The additional discount you get from Samsung (not CompAsia) is some sort of "reward" for doing a good will to the environment. You can trade in an entirely broken/unusable phone worth RM0 which you need to surrender to CompAsia but still get the same "reward" of RM650 from Samsung.

Samsung is not related to CompAsia so whatever communication you do with the 3rd party is beyond Samsung's business.

People said store pick up is better, as you get to inspect your phone right at the store and if found any defect you can directly file for warranty claim. Downside is that store employee seems always slow in notifying customer when their order arrived. So may get delay a few days.

Delivery is the fastest since it comes straight to you. But the downside is that your package may just get left outside when no one is home or may get toss at.
*
Store pickup is better. I pre-ordered Flip5 and opted for store pickup. Samsung will send an SMS once the package is ready. The staff were busy since other customers were also there to pick up but that is part of the excitement.. when everyone else is eager to get their device.

Cannot remember whether I had received sms for my s23 ultra

But I do received a call from the staff

And since this time very close to CNY, is better to choose for store pickup, else get the phone after CNY whistling.gif
*
DHL will send the SMS. And correct, the staff also called me that my device is ready to claim.

Where can we found the store loaction?
*
When you checkout the device online, it will ask you the delivery address or store pickup. You can select which SES branch to claim the device.

If open got problem, I have to go back to Samsung Service Center. They cant do anything. Then I straight took it home without open.

Take note that Samsung Online sales is not the same as physical store sales. They are 2 different entities.
Also, it was in the pre-order phase and they cannot simply replace your device with someone else's item.

After alnost 11yrs on my Samsung note 3 I finally decided is time to upgrade

My question why nobody order from send heng cause the 1tb is about 68xx something the cheapest I found with no hassle register this and that just pay cash kau tim. Simple why no one order???
*
Also simple..

1. No guaranteed RM650 discount for trade-in.
2. You cannot use the RM400 e-voucher (assuming you registered prior the announcement).
3. No RM500 e-voucher which you can use to buy your phone case/charger/screen protector etc.
4. No Samsung exclusive color

So why are you ordering from Sen Heng?

So order from senhen no good kah? so far no one here posted order from them. All from Samsung Malaysia. Haiyahhh need so much to think just to buy this expensive phone.
*
Instead of thinking, what you should do is login to Samsung Malaysia website yourself and try to order and see the total amount. You have seen people post how they can get a brand new S24 Ultra 512gb ~RM4,800 and you still insists SenHeng...

1. Senheng has their own trade in also if you check https://www.senheng.com.my/trade-in-rebate
2. There is RM400 which if you physically visit them, they will manually key it in (Their online website also able to claim this RM400, too)
3. They give Free Galaxy buds2Pro
4. This one cannot deny  tongue.gif
*
To answer,
1. SenHeng's trade in program is not as enticing as Samsung's. You see, I can trade in a non-working phone (RM0 value) but still get the RM650 discount.
2. No need to physically visit the store to manually key-in as we are ordering online. Less hassle instantly deduct from total amount.
3. Free galaxy buds2Pro vs RM500 e-voucher ~ the versatility of choosing what free accessories you want so Samsung Online still wins.
4. Yes to exclusive colors

Pre-ordered the S24U at RM5899 without trade in, I wasn't too sure if they will accept my Note 10+ SD Variant as its not meant for Malaysia. Exynos was a joke for that series.

Can't wait for Feb 7 now 🙃
*
It should accept imported models. Why? They even accept Google and Motorola phones which are not sold here officially.

AI... it just a gimmick anyway...

Not a gimmick. It all depends on the use case. This is especially useful for folks who like travelling to crowded places and taking pictures. Just a tap and you can remove any nuisance.

I upgraded from S22U because the S24U deal this year seems very good. Here is how I justified it:

RM 6799 S24U 512GB
RM 461 SC+ 2Y
RM 41 Flipsuit Card

Then minus:
Rm 500 free memory upgrade
Rm 500 voucher
Rm 400 pre register voucher
Rm 650 trade in bonus
Rm 160 s20u trade in (LCD spoil)
Rm 2200 s22u sell on mudah
Rm 1000 company benefit for phone every 2 years
Rm 86 shopback
Rm 50 samsung points
Rm 50 enrich miles from CC
Rm 700 sell free samsung a15 from new 24m telco plan

End up paying RM 1000 for the phone only

S24U bad lens distortion LOL 😂

Not to mention low quality camera viewfinder.

user posted image
*
It's not lens distortion. It's because the main lens has higher aperture / bigger sensor size which means you will have a shallow depth of field and a very small focus area.

This is the reason why there is a feature to auto switch to macro because the ultrawide angle lens has a smaller aperture.
It's the same for the iPhones and Pixels.

The term lens distortion is not related to the focus.

A shallow depth of field = a small area or part of the image in focus, where things away from the main subject become blurry.
All new phones have a shallow depth of field.

Huh? The S24 from your pic is a demo unit with no SIM card inserted so definitely no signal at all.

But same display you see ultra with full signal. In addition without simcard signal you may refer below i find in google.

This is not a proof that the S24 has weak reception at all. The article is just saying that your phone is capable of transmitting/receiving signal even without SIM card. It did not state that the signal bar refers to the reception of a phone without SIM card.

You should try removing the SIM card from your current phone and see for yourself whether your phone is displaying signal bars.

Is the guy who raised this issue serious?!! Seriously, you are transitioning from 1 lens to another. These lenses are PHYSICALLY AWAY FROM EACH OTHER.
Think of it as your pair of EYES. Close your left eye and observe what you can see from your right eye. Now, close your right eye and open your left eye. You will notice that your eyes are seeing 2 different things. It's called PERSPECTIVE.

I find it funny that people do not understand how things work. ohmy.gif

Another summary for this thread. More or less quite accurate

• There are concerns that Samsung may have prioritized retail sales over fulfilling pre-orders, leading to frustration among customers who ordered early.

*
I can confirm this is true. I visited Samsung Avenue K last week and the staff told me they have "ready stock" of any of the S24 series if I pre-order from them and I can get right then and there. To be fair, not all colors are available but still kinda weird.
