s25 also have same android security patch level on last month

Just use some random thread, no idea why whatsapp make clear chat like this
Normally when i clear chat group, what i need is keep document, text and picture delete, now no way to clear text

If i uncheck all in media, it auto check back all
If i onky check photo, tap clear chat, text still remain

Anyone know how to keep s24 ultra into 5g, change simcard reset etc dont work still stay 4g+, but my iphone all at 5g

titanium for s24u? well according to samsung for s26u u never needed it. so does it even matter if poco doesn't have titanium?

it even has wifi 7, bigger battery, amoled, high refresh rate, atmos speakers, fastest charging, 6 years of software updates for UNDER rm 2k which is more reasonable than other alternatives.

the only thing i may worry is the bloat question on the poco OS. and the worse camera. the camera on the poco seems good enough for me. if you take camera seriously, then don't get this

speakers also don't seem as good as s24u, though if you need to crank up volume it can certainly do that just fine.






unless you are opting for a trade in price for going from s24u to a s26u




i just can't think of a good reason to get a samsung ultra smartphone if you are gonna spend rm 3-5k. the poco is more than capable as a main driver smartphone.

the samsung 7 major OS? the 7+ years of updates? who cares. not as if the samsung battery health will last past 5-6 years to begin with.

poco security updates for 6 years, and 4 major android OS updates promised will be more than sufficient to last for the full 6 year period.

Also if you haven't noticed already, android is quite fleshed out enough as is. so barely anything of worth gets added anyway. also, you will still get the security patches for the full 6 years when bought from the launch date.



main concern is the poco OS, whether the bloat is manageable or not. launcher maybe can be replaced with alternative like lawnchair.
















everything else? just seems like a win if you want something good, with some trade offs (probably worse AI, worse but OK cam)





Samsung has not impressed with it's recent s26U. there is nothing ultra about it except the price. just look around and just realize how ridiculous it is we are paying for a worse experience then something like this poco X8 pro max.

though s26u has 16gb ram, the s24u i have with 12gb of ram is sufficient for my usage. never had an issue with that, so the pocos 12gb ram is not a deal breaker.



so anyway, sticking to my s24u since it works fine and happy with it. not going to simply upgrade for no reason.

But once it's life expires when battery is dying in probly 2-3 from now, then i'll check if the samsung ultra with trade in is worth it. Or i may just go for something like this poco. will see. depends on price and features

hope u like it when it arrives. i use this myself and in 2026 still feels good.

not like they added better battery in s26u anyway. though with the efficient cpu u get more sot i guess.

not sure about used.... hopefully you don't get cheated. someone on discord told me their story about buying 2nd hand. they told me they found out it was a stolen phone.....
