I just got a alert from Secure2U maybank for approval of unknown transaction through FPX by this one not so famous 3rd party payment gateway which I will not mention, few hours after I used that gateway to pay bills.

I have called up Maybank, and got the entire maybank2u and debit card blocked / cancelled. They told me someone has intercepted my login credentials.

I can think of no other than that 3rd party gateway which I used few hours earlier.

Is it possible for this 3rd party website which direct your payment through FPX to siphon our data??

if i am in the same situation as you, i will move the balance in the account to other bank first then left only rm1...

then i will start to korek the culprit lol...

btw bro, dont use main account for online transaction...only transfer specific amount from your main to this maybank let say, then do transaction

I already panic la, called Maybank fraud line.

They block the M2U access and cancel the Debit card associated with it. They told me this case is serious because it shows my login credential have been compromised. Changing password is not enough according to them because they may have my debit card credentials / ID , can do funny thing also, according to the them la.

Need to pay RM12 at Maybank branch tomorrow to get new Debit card and activation of M2U.

Just to share with /K, next time got this funny message please call your bank ASAP , fraud hotline to get your internet banking blocked.

Thats why you should try use 3rd party accounts like wise

which website / pay bills or judi online casino / using browser with ad block ?

nowadays phishing via duplicate website is super common.

scammer will pay money to have their duplicate website on top result of google search ( can be easily prevented with ad block)
