My kid going to school soon. May I know any gps tracker so I can know my kid location?

He needs something that supports sim card with data to enable some kind of gps tracking. I think he's worried about child kidnapping.

The most instant tracker would be GPS in this case. Maybe a smart watch would help.

GPS is not really good indoors, and the battery life is poor, have to charge every couple of days

I am getting overwhelmed as well.

School does not allows student to bring smart watch to school. Kids will just keep playing the smart watch instead of focus on learning

Using Imoo can last 3-5 days in single charge. Paying RM15 a month for the sim card data. No youtube or such things so kids wont get distracted in class. There is also silent mode and there is an app for parents to manage watch etc

if your kid bring a "phone" to class, it will be confiscated.
i was tempted by the GPS+SIM watches before,
but i backed off realising that anyone can call the watch and it also can receive. Not sure if there is CLIP restriction, if there is no-calls-at-all settings, or i am simply imagining things.

xiaomi kids watch with companion app can set which number it can receive/call out to, the rest will be auto blocked
if bring to school, just keep it in the school bag no need to wear
if got stolen also no use since companion app need barcode in the box to pair with the watch

u can use that simcard watch / tracker that can track, but not to wear it laaa. hide it in the bag, hide in ur child secret compartment.

must bare that this watch only can hold 3-4days max and need to charge daily.

oh another benefits of simcard watch, it can support 2 ways communication. i mean can save 2-3 emergency contact / direct call, send messaging.

if air track, tracker just pinging nearest location.
