Apparently i cant get enough coverage and speed (maxis) in my area, even though my sis is using the same provider, just different phone, she got more speed. I'm using iphone and she's using oppo.
My friend said we need to pay plus rm10 in our bill every month for 5G. Is it worth it?

No 5G access is free for older plans...intiallly they charged but now they offer for free Newer 5G plans had price bump about RM11 for each plans with gets more Data than older plans

Noted.
My friend just paid her bill recently with rm10 extra charge. Maybe she'll need to ask maxis cs abt that.

I think it depends on a case-by-case basis. I have been a Maxis fibre and Maxis 98 user for over 3 years. When Unifi offered 100Mbps for RM88/month, I immediately applied. Maxis called me and offered RM30 off per month to stay with my current fibre plan, with no contract attached. Then I also applied to switch my mobile provider to YES 5G to reduce costs. Again Maxis called and offered me their Plan 78 with 5G, but I would only need to pay RM49/month for 24 months, again with no contract. This demonstrates the power customers have.

Weird...
iphone speed lower than oppo???
So basically it's phone issues not Telco 😁
Unless one is postpaid another is prepaid... Then got difference... Because prepaid speed kinda "capped" for some reasons....
