The moon quite nice today smile.gif
-1 1/3 EV, spot metering, ISO 100, f/6.3, 1/640s, focal length =72mm= 432mm equivalent

Very strong jpeg artifacts. Use ISO80.

you too noticed the moon is very bright yesterday huh ?

i was about to sleep, then i looked on sky on the windows, it was like dawn, then i went out and see the moon, wow, super bright..
but not taking out my s3 because too tired already..

with only 12x zoom, cant really get big moon,

nice shot with S3is though !! thumbup.gif

Nope. It's either the ISO or he's not using fine jpeg. I've shot moon with S3 before, it can be much better.

i see, anyway the moon is bright again now..

i have took few photos of it, will upload them soon

Added on October 28, 2007, 2:27 amI guess it is not the ISO problem, i took at ISO 80 and ISO 100, no visible difference..
i think it should be the jpg compression..

Your moon is over exposed. Use Spot Metering.

i used photoimpact for cropping, maybe too much compression after saving (just 44KB) makes artifact smile.gif Next time i'll care about that
