New Axia is based on puny CVT and the new diehardsu platform. Might as well get Rahmah and pay outside shop some RM2-3k to do 4AT transplant.

not sure why u guys hate cvt. as long as you got used to it, it is a good transmission.
only bad thing about cvt was probably the reliability. having said that, both cvt that i own were ok jer even after 10 years. not as smooth as new but still driveable

More like, I rather keep the manual.

No alarm, lock/unlock remote functionality either...

Plus.....the steel rim tends to rust faster too....

Only one rim rusted slightly where I ketuk back after bent,
the rest perfectly fine for 7 years

No no, it's not about fun. If you have the money to do conversion, then better buy a proper auto axia in the first place. If you are buying a Rahmah because it's cheap, then use the money not doing conversion to actually make the car better, like buying a radio and fitting a reverse sensor.

How reliable will that be?

Out of topic a bit, was looking at 2nd hand Viva, I know 660 & 850 are all manual but can see ppl have transplanted AT to it. How reliable are they overall?

Next on my list is Avanza 1.3 auto. Cheapest Avanza 1.3 AT same price as cheaper Viva 1.0 AT, ard 10k.
