Because riding a bike is not an emergency thus not legal.

consider this:

road hooligans love it when people drive defensively, so people will give way to them all the time. everyone else driving defensively the better so can inflate their ego further

1. biker claim honda tiba2 bagi signal. Sure must be those cibai drivers who only put on the signal lights at the same moment they switch lane.
and from looking at this, i doubt the honda driver even check before switching.

2. Biker not alert and also slow to react. Biker look like he was already slowing down. But why didn't he stop to avoid collision? Or at least counter steer to the left a bit. He had all the time to avoid collision, but he still went straight.

3. it appears that the biker was going rather fast when lane filtering through the traffic jam. cibai biker.



my principal when riding bikes.
- if the traffic is moving (no traffic jam), no lane splitting. just following the flow of the traffic
- lane filter only through traffic jam
- lane filter at not more than 50kmh
- lane filter time use the horn often when lane filtering, beep beep all the way
- lane filter time , focus to look out for driver pattern. Such as the other lane got gaps and most likely the car on the other lane will switch lane into the gap
- be more sabar when lane filtering through the traffic jam, no rush. If from far can see a car indicating wants to change lane, slow down and give way.
- if see from far car already switching lane, slow down and give way. delay 2 to 3 seconds will not die one.

Signal light is used to indicate and letting other road users know that you have the intention of switching lane or making a turn.
it is not used as "I have the right to change lane" just because you use the signal lights. Switch when it is safe.
how many seconds? use your own judgement and put yourself in this situation. The car at the other lane just cut into your lane and he only use the signal light at the moment he switch lane. you will be pissed.
Wouldn't it be better and safer that this driver indicate first maybe for at least 3 or 4 blinks and then only switch into your lane when it is safe (after you know his intention and you leave a gap in front for him).

many road users have this mindset that "i got use the signal lights, therefore i have my rights"

but he still mau jalan with expectation the H will bek to his lane

always anticipate the car on the other lane will go into the empty space.
alert, go into orange zone.

when i come across this situation when i'm lane filtering through the traffic jam, no matter, what I will always beep my horn.
not taking any chances.

Honda Sensing is useless if the driver's Common Sense is non existence.
