I got friend working in one of the charge point operators. Their chargers in the mall really profit kaw2, already breakeven all the hardware and installation costs. According to them people dont mind even paying for idling fees despite their ev fully charged. As long as easy to get parking and close to entrance

Btw the fast charging machine alone cost over 50k for a basic ones, its the slow chargers that cost around 4-8k
