Green Line can be due to many reasons (mishandling, overheating, manufacturing defects, etc). So far I use no problem.

For A35, A55 can do screen repair cheaper at Samsung. No need to replace screen. For S series depends on model (RM440 -600). Ultra more expensive.

Meaning sooner or later all the pong that use samseng panel with this hardware defect including ipong will get it

Dun know why samseng after so many years baru supposingly fixed this on s23 series onwards

Been using samseng since s7 edge till s23. Not a single problem on hardware.

They is a confrim hardware defect for samseng panel from about 2019- 2022

That means all pong inc xiaomi apple oneplus vivo oppo etc using samseng panel from these years will most probally get the green line eventually

What causes green line, bad luck?

I got S4, S10plus, S23 no issues yet

got note fe ,s5 , note 20 ultra and fold 3 .. all still working however , the note 20 got a black dot and the fold 3 inner screen self destructed ..(luckily can claim under waranty ...)

S24 out, S22 a lot of people kena green line. S25 not out yet, S23 Belum sure will kena or not. Yet people nowdays will continue to upgrade and say S23 don't have green line problems anymore. Later kena again, will say S24 no more such problem. And the cycle and sheeps continue to buy.....

Boe tcl semua is unproven tech which we also dun know they got qc prob or not since they are quite new and unproven

This is just a theory

From what ive heard

It has something to do with the thin bezel of modern phones design

The display cable have to to flex aka bend more than 90° actually closer to 180° and bcus of the thin bezel compounded by the thin body as well they are not enuf room causing great strees and hence the connection break over time due to thermal degradation and orher enviroment stress.

Dats why on older phone with thick bezel like my samseng note 3 no such green line prob even after 11years.
