and Dont have the time to travel to a foreign country just to deposit a small amount check/cheque. Dont forget Im a full time doctor and already running a few part time projects myself.

Sorry to hear that.
I think since local bank wont accept, better complaint/enquire through BNM https://www.bnm.gov.my/consumer-info/complaints to get better advice
6.5k usd = rm30k is not small for me
