Drive from KLCC Kuala Lumpur to George Town Penang require 4 hour 30 min.

Travel by Flight
Drive from KLCC Kuala Lumpur to KLIA require 1 hour.
Waiting time at KLIA require 4 hours.
Flight time from KLIA to Penang Airport is 1 hour.
Drive from Penang Airport to George Town is 40 min.
Total time is 6 hour 40 min.

Why pay more for more travel time and inconvenience?

Maybe want to jaga employees, scared got strike. Airports around the world is on strikes especially Europe.

I dont check in my bag
Immigration using autogate: 1min? 2mins?
Walking to gate & security check & boarding: 1hour
Flight: 1hour
SG Immigration: 3-5mins

For me, the reason I was 3-4 hours earlier in the airport because traffic in KV during peak hours is damning especially morning.

I can reach KLIA within 45 minutes if traffic were smooth (from sg buloh)

4 hours of waiting.. enough to fly to China.

Check-in counters are the responsibilities of the airlines. For immigration, Malaysia passport holders can use autogate.

Of course, AirAsia will blame passengers for not checking in online.

On arrival all auto gates are offline for "maintenance".

All Malaysians have to queue for just 7 manual counters like Bangla FW entering the country. Actually I think the foreign passports are clearing immigration faster than Malaysians.
