You're wrong on that. They have a special lane for buses. From Malaysia side customs till Singapore part takes about 1+ hour.

My journey to KLIA: 1 hour (approx)
I dont check in my bag
Immigration using autogate: 1min? 2mins?
Walking to gate & security check & boarding: 1hour
Flight: 1hour
SG Immigration: 3-5mins
