Do we need to call Hotlink to activate VoLTE?

Or all hotlink users are automatically enabled and it depends on device whether it supports or not?

How to know if VoLTE is enabled or used?

For voLTE, yes. But on the phone, they will insist it's your phone issue if you can't get voLTE, you need to convince them to submit request for voLTE activation. This is my experience for a few times using Hotlink and Maxis, last was a year back. Not sure if now, it's auto or not.

For voWIFI, I not sure

How to know voLTE enabled/used? Can see on the phone, got voLTE symbols.. but if don't have, try to make calls and see if it stays on 4G or goes to 2G.

i dun recall needing to activate this feature on DIGI (now celcom-digi)... hrm...

When phone is not on call, has VoLTE logo. When on call, can see 4G sign with VoLTE logo too.

That means got voLTE

for my digi line, i chat to digi when get new phone, as after 1 week usage still no VoLTE
for my u mobile when change phone, instant got VoLTE

both auto got Vowifi

Both VoLTE and VoWifi is automatically activated. Try to make a call, if phone stays on 4G then you have VoLTE. As for VoWifi you should be able to turn on in your phone settings.

I just noticed that VoLTE for Redmi Note 4 used by my mother is available this month. Before this there are no VoLTE Icon even though in Setting, VoLTE is set to ON.

I ported in to Hotlink last month and realized no data during a call. I called Hotlink and they activated VoLTE for me. CS did mention that they have to manually activate from their side.

I don't seem to be able to get it to work.

Last update.. June 2024. I ported to Hotlink again.

Once new SIM activated, don't have voLTE

After check with CS, then only voLTE started working.
