For company operations:
1) Tesla Malaysia will need to register with SSM
2) Tesla malaysia need to submit LHDN annually, need local Accounting/Audit Firm and Company Secretary service
3) Tesla need to comply with Malaysia Labor law etc
4) Tesla is listed company, Tesla Malaysia as direct branch will be under spotlight; if anything wrong/bad happens, it will be very big news and under direct scrutiny.

For Employee
1) They are directly hire by Tesla, not dealer...
2) They will have access to the Tesla employees systems
3) Tesla internal training and career path development (can train up and learn up)
4) Employee will have the chance to internal transfer to oversea branch

For consumers
1) direct price offer, reduce the mark up margin by dealer
2) direct warranty with Tesla, and Tesla cannot run away now
3) stronger confidence to the Tesla Car, because the company is directly presence here
4) no spec cut, no price variant

Because it is original manufacturer…it is good to have directly deal/complaint to original manufacturer rather than dealer…

Wait till you try and log a service request through the app.
It is actually a pretty awesome experience.

Traditional manufacturer would be you ring a service hotline, they ask you to bring your car in, the tech asks you a few questions and they bring it in to the workshop and pull stuff apart to try and find the issue.

This one, you click through a few menu options to highlight your concern, you can attach photos/videos, the system provides you with a cost estimate and gives you a few timeslots to bring your car in.
Not sure if it's because there are fewer moving parts and dealing direct with manufacturer (hence tapping into their knowledge base of existing faults/defects) but they have a pretty good idea of what the issue is, and what (if any) costs there will be to fix it as well.
They're in control of their own supply chain.

It can be a full contactless experience, and you have visuals on your car via the app during the process so no monkey business.

Update at above.

Absolutely right, good for country too because Tesla Malaysia need to pay tax as usual Sdn Bhd company

Good for consumers, no need to accept subpar service by dealer…

Only bad things is no bumi/AP company JV with Tesla, it hurts AP holders, cannot get the profit split (since no JV and it is 100% subsidiary of Tesla).

I feel sorry for them because they are not direct employee of Apple. So, they need to listen their boss (machines, switch etc) to bullshit…

Afterall working for years, no career development, no skillset, only get monthly salary.

i believed it is, because they are Tesla directly, they will work the same CRS process across big/small market.

Example: America/China/EU vs Malaysia market

BTW, I updated my 1st tered and list out more detail....it is actually very very good to connect with TESLA directly instead of going thru DEALER...

DEALER only talk numbers ($$$) and business...
