He was renowned for fortune-telling, with many claiming his accuracy in advising how to avoid unfortunate incidents.

Lin Jianyue, the boss of Media Asia, is known to be a devout believer in White Dragon King. In the early years, Lin Jianyue was not involved in the entertainment industry, and many investments ended up in losses.
In the early days of taking over Media Asia, the films he invested in received favorable reviews, but the box office remained low.
When investing 40 million in the production of "Infernal Affairs," Lin Jianyue specially invited White Dragon King from Thailand to preside over a grand ceremony to worship the gods, with all the key creatives, including director Andrew Lau and actors Tony Leung and Andy Lau, attending in white attire.
The film ultimately accepted White Dragon King's suggestion and was renamed "Infernal Affairs."
Despite the bleak Hong Kong film market, the movie still grossed over 50 million Hong Kong dollars, making it Media Asia's highest-grossing film to date and a trailblazer in the new era of Hong Kong cinema.

Title: "White Dragon King and the Hong Kong Entertainment Industry"
Buried within the towering mountains of Hong Kong's tabloids, after digesting various gossip, one might discover that the lives of a significant portion of Hong Kong's entertainment industry stars are under the influence of a colossal figure.
This figure is neither TVB's chairman, Run Run Shaw, nor the head honcho of Shaw Brothers. Instead, it is a Thai Feng Shui grandmaster known as the White Dragon King.
In 1990, the White Dragon King built the Bak Lung-wong Temple in Laem Chabang District, Pattaya, Thailand.
Every Friday to Sunday, starting at 8 am,
he reads fortunes for believers from Southeast Asia in the temple.
