 Numb cream, Recommend please

Hi

Applied it on the skin prior to injection tongue.gif

Make the area numb.

So no pain tongue.gif

For my diabetic mom...insulin thing.

No need to use numbing cream. Nowadays the needle is so small. It doesn't feel much.

My mum is using insulin pen as well. And we never needed to use numbing cream.

If she feel pain in her tummy, can always use behind the arm area. Less pain.

what about blood test? any insights/advise to numb the arm area before drawing blood?

Not that i know of but it's best to check with a dr regarding the suitability of this gel

I believe spray would be better than cream but more expensive.

Cream worry if patient got skin allergy may not be suitable.

Anyhow just consult the pharmacist they are expert in their field.

The pain will still be there but bearable enough for me to complete my exercise or seek help. It's just a mild anesthetic.
