Hamas says its tunnel system is designed to withstand floods 

Israeli attempts to pump Hamas tunnels with seawater to drive fighters up to the surface where they can be picked off by the IDF will not work because the underground network is flood-proof, a spokesman for the group has claimed.  

'The tunnels were built by well-trained and educated engineers who considered all possible attacks from the occupation, including pumping water,' Hamas spokesperson Osama Hamdan asserted.

UNRWA, Hamas deny connection to Gaza tunnels
Christopher Gunness, a spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), issued a statement June 9 announcing that UNRWA had discovered a tunnel June 1, allegedly dug by Hamas, under two of its affiliated schools, the Maghazi Elementary Boys A&B School and the Maghazi Preparatory Boys School. The discovery was made during work to expand a building belonging to one of the schools, which are in the Maghazi refugee camp, in the central Gaza Strip. “UNRWA condemns the existence of such tunnels in the strongest possible terms,” Gunness said. “It is unacceptable that students and staff are placed at risk in such a way.”

nope it wont, like you toss a million tons of water into the tunnel, what the ppl inside can do about it ? nothing much, but if you pump gas in, its so much easier to handle, just pull a cable to where u pump the gas in, light up the gas every 1 min, small explosion at the tunnel entrance, what makes you think those ppl inside wont do anything until 72 hours later, until the entire area is filled with gas ?
