Ultra 7 155H at RM5,999. Intel chip availability is fast compared to AMD lol.

Intel Core Ultra may not surpass Ryzen 7000 Zen 4 series or Apple M3, but it has caught up to AMD Zen 3+ processors and Apple M2 series in terms of performance efficiency, whilst being much better in power efficiency over its predecessor of "Core i" chips.

And the pricing of 1st gen Core Ultra laptops seems to be unchanged against previous generation 13th Gen Core i (besides the depreciating MYR exchange rate, making the laptop slightly more expensive)

So if you want to futureproof your laptop, the Core Ultra (Arc iGPU generation) would finally be a worthy upgrade for laptops that are showing its age, compared to 11th-13th Gen Core i (Iris Xe generation) and 8th-10th Gen Core i (Intel UHD generation)

Not to mention, only intel laptops have support for Thunderbolt 4 as well as preferred support by IT depts/companies in Malaysia (due to Intel's presence in Malaysia over AMD)

Intel unfortunately focuses on lobbying into the biggest market share on the laptop processors space, and so far, it worked out for them.

However, it's good that they are at least doing the bare minimum to finally make their processors better for 2024, orelse their reputation would continue to drop further, which would transform to lower market share long-term.
