i'm using maxis fibre 300mbps, using their original device (one black box one white box, no idea which is router and which is the other thing)
for direct connection to LAN (to my PC and to photostat machine) everything is fine
but for wifi, once the device connects, it will not have internet for up to a minute (the wifi signal shows strong on the phone, doesn't have the wifi + ! sign)
it will take 1-2minutes for the phone to get internet (means if i load a site, it will show that it's stuck loading).
some people in my condo said to subscribe to Public IP ( add RM10), which i did, and it does nothing.
do i need to change settings or change the box?

just change the black box. that is the shitty box. Public IP is needed if you install CCTV that need direct access from outside world. Else you can unsubscribe Public IP

You live in a condo. Wifi inference is alot. Check for low usage channel then set the desire one. Youtube it. The maxis router not too bad for signal but lack of other feature.
